Prepare for the backcountry with our monthly Strength & Conditioning programs, designed to build the strength, stability, and endurance needed for successful hunts.
Classes are tailored for both bowhunters and rifle hunters, combining focused fitness training with elevated heart-rate shooting scenarios.
These monthly programs are built to simulate real backcountry demands—so you’re confident, capable, and prepared when it’s time for your next hunt.
We typically focuses on in-gym strength from January-April and start prepping for the outdoors in May-June.

6-Week Backcountry Bowhunter Training Camp
July-August
2026 Camp Dates:
Wednesdays 6:15pm-7:45pm starting July 22nd.
The 6-Week Camp progresses week to week, building confidence through elevated heart-rate shooting in real-life hunting scenarios and preparing you for whatever the field throws your way.
This isn’t just about sharpening your shooting skills—each session also includes purposeful physical fitness training to ensure you’re mountain-ready and capable of handling any terrain. All archery skills are led by a certified archery coach, ensuring proper technique, safe execution, and individualized feedback throughout the program.

This training camp will be hosted outdoors at the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area Archery Range in Highlands Ranch, CO, featuring 20–80 yard shots throughout training. -
Private Hunting Prep

Private training sessions avaible by our founder and owner- Zach Petrone. Designed by a coach with over 10 years of experience in high-level Strength & Conditioning and hunt-specific performance, the training bridges the gap between the gym and the unforgiving realities of the backcountry.
Athletes develop mountain-ready strength, endurance, and durability through structured in-gym training paired with field-based, hunt-specific sessions that replicate steep terrain, long days under load, fatigue, and precision under pressure.
Backed by a Bachelor of Science and expertise in Mountain Fitness, Hunting Preparation, and Endurance Sports Performance, Zach is sought after in Colorado for this specific training.
